The Town of La Veta will have Town Clean-up Day on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (weather permitting) for LA VETA RESIDENTS ONLY, (proof of residency will be asked for) NO COMMERICAL BUSINESS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BRING TRASH, EVEN IF YOU CLEANED IT UP FOR A LA VETA RESIDENT. Dumpsters will be located at the North side of the recycling center bins. There will be available for disposal for a fee; tires, TV’s, electronics, lawnmowers with the oil drained. No refrigerators or freezers, no paint, liquids, oils or chemicals will be accepted. Washers & dryers will be accepted. No household trash will be allowed.
