Stage 2 Water Restrictions begin July 17, 2024: The La Veta Town Board voted to enact Stage 2 Water Restrictions effective today, July 17, 2024, until further notice. What does Stage 2 Water Restrictions mean? It means if your address ends with an even number you may water on even numbered days and if your address ends with and odd number you may water on odd numbered days. Watering times shall be between 6:00am and 9:00am or between 6:00pm and 9:00pm in the evening. If you have any questions please contact Town Hall at 719-742-3631.

Town of La Veta’s Regular Municipal Election

Tuesday, April 5, 2022 is the Town of La Veta’s Regular Municipal Election. Please vote in person at the La Veta Community Center at 131 E Ryus from 7AM to 7PM. UNOFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS will be displayed on the community center door immediately following the counting of the votes. On Wednesday, April 6 , 2022 UNOFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS will be posted to the Town’s website as well as here on Facebook. UNOFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS will also be announced during Wednesday evening’s regular Town Board Meeting. OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS will be displayed on Monday, April 18, 2022.
