Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the 7th day of April, 2026, a Regular Municipal election will be held in the Town of La Veta, at which time and place there will be elected the following officers:

One     (1)      Mayor             Two year term          

Three  (3)      Trustee             Four year term       

Nominating petitions will be available at the La Veta Town Hall, 209 S. Main Street, La Veta, Colorado on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.  All petitions must be returned to the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 209 S. Main Street, La Veta, Colorado by the close of business on Monday, January 26, 2026. Qualifications for eligibility to hold municipal office are available at the Town Hall or online under Colorado Revised Statues, 31-10-301.
