The Town of La Veta will be testing our sirens TODAY, January 2, 2026 at 11 AM. All sirens will be activated simultaneously and we anticipate the test will last for approximately 30 seconds.

A Code Red notification will NOT be broadcast. We are required to perform a monthly test of our sirens as a condition of our warranty. Testing is usually performed on the first Friday of each month at 11AM
