The Town of La Veta will hold a public hearing on September 1, 2020, 6:45 p.m. at the La Veta Town Hall, 209 S. Main Street, La Veta, Colorado. This will be a virtual hearing and the link to hearing will be posted on the town’s website 24 hours prior to the hearing. The purpose of this hearing is to seek public input regarding an application from Cherie Lowenberg for a Special Use Permit for a Home based Therapeutic Counseling business, located at 616 E. Ryus Ave., La Veta, Colorado. Additional information regarding this application may be obtained from Laurie L. Erwin, Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 719-742-3631. Public comment can be in the form of writing to the Town Clerk or verbal at the public hearing. Any written comments must be received by the close of business on August 31, 2020.
