Stage 2 Water Restrictions begin July 17, 2024: The La Veta Town Board voted to enact Stage 2 Water Restrictions effective today, July 17, 2024, until further notice. What does Stage 2 Water Restrictions mean? It means if your address ends with an even number you may water on even numbered days and if your address ends with and odd number you may water on odd numbered days. There will be a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 6:45 p.m. at the La Veta Town Hall, 209 S. Main Street, La Veta, Colorado. The purpose of this hearing is to seek public input regarding a vacation, rearrangement and replat of the E. 50 feet of Lots 1-6, Block 9, Town of La Veta, submitted by Robert and Terry Amalfitano, more commonly known as 106 E. Field Street, La Veta, Colorado. They have requested to vacate, rearrange and re-plat the E. 50 feet of Lots 1-6 into Parcel C. The zoning will remain the same, Commercial.
