Stage 2 Water Restrictions begin July 17, 2024: The La Veta Town Board voted to enact Stage 2 Water Restrictions effective today, July 17, 2024, until further notice. What does Stage 2 Water Restrictions mean? It means if your address ends with an even number you may water on even numbered days and if your address ends with and odd number you may water on odd numbered days. LA VETA SCHOOL DISTRICT DISCONNECTION FROM THE TOWN OF LA VETA
A public hearing will be held on November 17, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. to seek public input regarding Ordinance # TBD, La Veta School District Disconnection from the Town of La Veta. The La Veta School District has requested disconnection from the Town of La Veta. The property is located North of the Town of La Veta on Stadium Drive, La Veta, Colorado. Due to COVID the hearing will be held virtually at 209 S. Main Street, La Veta, Colorado. The link to the virtual hearing will be posted on the November 17, 2020 agenda on the Town of La Veta website, townoflaveta-co.gov. The link will be posted 24 hours prior to the meeting.
