Town Brush Pile Open on May 7: The Town of La Veta will open the Town brush burn pile on Friday, May 7, 2021 (weather permitting) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for La Veta residents only, proof of residency may be asked for. The burn pile is located at the La Veta Town Lakes. NO COMMERICAL BUSINESS WIL BE ALLOWED TO BRING BRUSH TO THE BURN PILE. The burn pile will be available for branches, limbs, leaves and yard waste. NO TREE stumps larger than 4” in diameter will be allowed. NO CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL, this includes pallets, doors, or anything from a construction site.
